No Mas! 5 Reasons Lil Wayne Should Stop Throwing Shots at Jay-Z

Enough is enough, Lil Wayne. Over the course of the last year or so, you and Jay-Z have thrown several well-calculated shots at one another. First, Jay landed a jab on "H.A.M." after Birdman insinuated that you were richer than Hov. On that track, he rapped, "I'm like, 'Really, half a billi?' N----, really, you got Baby money/Keep it real with n-----, n----- ain't got my lady money." Then, you fired back on "It's Good" off Tha Carter IV when you rapped, "Talkin' 'bout Baby money? I got your baby money/Kidnap you b----, get that 'How much you love your lady?' money." You both traded words about your beef through the press and seemingly shrugged off whatever perceived beef existed between the two of you. And, most recently, you went at Jay again the night before the 2012 Grammy Awards when you got on stage at a YMCMB party and rapped, "I met a bad red bone, I took the b---- home/I asked her what she want to watch, she said, 'Surely not the Throne." Which is why we need to tell you something, Weezy: Enough.

It's not that we don't enjoy a good rap beef. In fact, whatever rift existed between you and Jay was interesting to us once upon a time. But we think it's time for you to stop throwing shots at Jay. Why? Well, we've got five good reasons why you should dead whatever negative feelings you've got for Jay-Z and move on. Please let your pre-Grammy shots be the last one you throw. Because, truthfully, we've had enough. And so have you.Chris Yuscavage
