R&B singer Christina Milian is officially part of the Young Money family after rap star Lil Wayne announced her association this weekend.

Weezy broke the news to a crowd of fans during a pre-Grammy Awards event Saturday (February 11) night.

In a bit of a surprised move, Christina Milian has officially signed to Young Money. No, seriously... Last night at Cash Money's Pre-Grammy party, Lil Wayne made a special announcement. Before receiving his plaque and taking a shot at Jay-Z and Kanye West, the Young Money general announced Christina Millian had in fact signed with the label. "I got the beautiful Ms. Christina Milian with me tonight... Ya'll make some noise for Ms. Christina Milian. Young Money Christina Milian!" Interesting to see how this plays out for both parties. According to reports, Milian previously had record deals with multiple labels.

The 30-year-old singer-actress had previous deals with The-Dream's Radio Killa Record! s and My Space Records, but did not release an album on either label. She can currently be seen as the social media correspondent on NBC's "The Voice." (Rap-Up)

Outside of music, the singer recently made headlines for having her divorce from R&B star The-Dream settled.

A judge has finalized singer Christina Milian's divorce from singer-songwriter-producer The-Dream. Milian's attorney Randy Kessler said Monday that the judge in Atlanta signed the final paperwork this month. Milian and The-Dream, whose real name is Terius Nash, were married in 2009 and separated in July 2010. The two have an infant daughter together. Kessler said the divorce was resolved by mutual agreement. (Billboard)

Back in 2010, Dream came clean about not being a faithful husband.

"I'm sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved! If there's anyone to blame and you can't fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront! Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED! This is not to justify anything, it's true emotion! It's a real thing that involves real people! I've cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I've tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming. But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not "Superman" and its okay to lose sometimes... This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!" (The Life Files)
