Lil Wayne Reveals Deal For Upcoming Signature Sneaker

Lil Wayne just launched his Trukfit clothing line in January, and now, he's preparing to expand even further into the fashion world ... via footwear.

According to Vibe.com, the hip-hop superstar revealed that he's currently finalizing a deal for his own signature shoe. However, he's declined to reveal the company he's inking the deal with.

Lil Wayne said he may release his own Trukfit-branded shoes in the future, but before that, his first sneaker will be released with this major shoe brand.

"I do have a shoe coming out soon, but it won't be Trukfit," the rapper told the magazine. "I have shoe with a well-known company. I just don't want to say yet because I haven't dotted the line yet. But it's done."

Weezy did narrow it down a bit, and possibly hinted at who it may be.

"Nah, it's not a Nike or Reebok, I can tell you that much," said Weezy, before being asked about his love for Supra. "Uh-oh. Watch out," he responded with a giggle.

The announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
