V Playlist: 2 Chainz x Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Pac Div, Metabeats x Action Bronson, Boogz Boogetz x Trae Tha Truth ...

VIBE's Daily Additions to the 'Pod

1. 2 Chainz (feat. Lil Wayne) "Yuck"We all love it when 2 Chainz has fun on his tracks, but it's even better when he takes a song seriously. From the beat on this to his flow & wordplay (we gotta admitthe hot potato verse was pretty dope), we get to see him really starting to embrace his inner lyricist.

2. Trey Songz "Eat It Up"Aside from the fact that this is NSFW, we're really not sure what to say about this one. Ladies, enjoy?

3. Pac Div "Bank"Yeah, the single cover isn't a mislead or metaphor: they're literally talking about robbing banks. At least the subject matter is different than the typical "cars, cash, hoes" verses. Versatilitythat's what hip-hop is all about, right?

4. Metabeats (feat. Action Bronson) "Hookers"Bronson's 90s influence is definitely in the right place. Majority, if not all, of the recent bars we've heard from the kid are lyricism at its finestincluding this one right here. We just need him to switch up the cadence every now an then. He can sometimes sounds the exact same way on each song he raps on, which for some can be boring.

5. Boogz Boogetz (feat. Trae Tha Truth) "H Town"The beat on this is definitely one to be savored. Starting off on some 70s R&B type shit, it soon turns into a slow groove low-rider anthem. Boogz' smooth flow matches the mood perfectly. Prepare to chill to this one.

6. Ellie Goulding "Anything Could Happen"Although she can sound a bit trembly at times, Ellie is beco! ming one of our favorite UK acts. She's different-ye t-weirdin a good wayand makes music that separates her so far from her peers that it's almost hard to call her Pop. Either way, she's molding a sound for herself.
