Lil Wayne Goes 'Fear And Loathing' In New 'No Worries' Clip

Lil Wayne channels his inner Raoul Duke in a brand-new teaser clip for his "No Worries" video, which premieres Wednesday (November 21) at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com.

Yes, "No Worries" sees Weezy and his producer pal Detail pay tribute to Hunter S. Thompson's iconic counter-culture work "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (or, more specifically, Terry Gilliam's loving 1998 film adaptation), with Tunechi donning Duke's bucket hat and shades, going the extra mile by also clenching a cigarette holder between his teeth. Meanwhile, Detail takes on the role of Duke's attorney, Dr. Gonzo, mostly by being sorta corpulent.

The two take an acid-powered trek through a Vegas casino, marveling at (or, alternately, shrinking in terror from) the rapidly swirling patterns on the carpet beneath their feet. The pair also make a stop at a strip club as is practically required by law in Sin City and Wayne also dances in front of a multi-colored background.

The "No Worries" video is directed by Colin Tilley, and was shot last month at locations all throughout Las Vegas. Wayne performed the song at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, teaming with 2 Chainz for a standout moment that also included a version of Deuce's "Yuck!"

You can catch the whole long, strange trip when Lil Wayne's "No Worries" video premieres in full this Wednesday at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com, as part of "MTV First: Lil Wayne." After the clip debuts, Weezy will also sit down with MTV News' Sway Calloway for an in-depth, 30 minute interview.

Following the on-air premiere, the "No Worries" video will also be available across MTV's digital screens and will land on MTV Hits, MTV Jams and mtvU ! before going into regular rotation on MTV2 and AMTV. Fans across the globe will also be able to watch the video and livestream interview at LilWayne.mtv.tv.
