10 Things Lil Wayne Can Do Since He's Retiring From Music [PHOTOS]

Image
GALLERY by Latifah Muhammad (@TheLatifah) November 28, 2012, 19:24pm Lil Wayne is on his way out of the rap game. He's been rapping since he was a child, and now with a few top-selling albums under his belt, maybe it is time to hang up the mic. The Young Money star announced his retirement in an interview with MTV News , possibly breaking a drove of fans' hearts, but in all honesty walking away while you're on top isn't such a bad thing. Rapping has been good to Weezy. It's turned him into a multi-millionaire, allotted him privileges that the common man could only dream of, landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records , and added a bunch of Grammys to his trophy case. But from what we've seen Wayne doesn't ever really slow down. After being released from prison he went straight into recording dropping one new project after another, not to mention touring, and all the songs he's been featured on. All that hard work (and maybe something else?) took

"My day job would probably be a sports analyst and I would skate all night instead of being in the studio all night," Wayne told Sway Calloway during his "MTV First" premiere of "No Worries," adding that he just "wants to be vital in the [skate] world" but skate enthusiasts probably would rather the rapper stick to what he knows. In Weezy F. Baby's perspective, Trukfit goes against the idea of trendy and strictly fads. "I think because it's not trendy and it's not what's the norm," Wayne said when asked why he thinks the brand has become a staple so quickly. "People are tired of everything just being 'what's cool.' Everybody's wearing such and such, everybody's doing such and such, and I don't believe that's what Trukfit is. Trukfit is just a bunch of little characters on a shirt, a bunch of sayings and stuff." ( MTV ) The tattooed-out rap star also said his clothing line has caught the attention of professional athletes. Unlike most p
