Behind The Scenes Of Lil Wayne's CCS Cover Shoot With Skaters Torey Pudwill, Others (Video)

In line with its 27-year history as one of the most progressive retailers in skateboarding, CCS brought enlisted Lil Wayne, along with top skateboarding pros Torey Pudwill, Theotis Beasley, Shane O'Neill and Paul Rodriguez for its May issue cover and exclusive interview.

"It's so cool just to be allowed to be in their circle, let alone skate with them," Lil Wayne said of his experience during the CCS cover shoot. "Just to be allowed to kick it with these guys is cool 'cause they them dudes -- Torey Pudwill, Theotis, Paul Rodriguez, Shane O'Neill... if I can skate with these dudes I can skate with anybody."

While Weezy was excited to hang out with, and skate with pros, the skaters were just as excited to ride with the musical superstar who has played a role in their lives both on and off the board.

"Wayne has taught me what work ethic is and he's taught me to continuously search for perfection," says pro skateboarder Paul Rodriguez. "That's just a small part of what I've learned from listening to his music and being around him."

The shoot took place P-Rod's private park in Southern California's San Fernando Valley, and all five guys skated deep int the early morning hours

"Lil Wayne is definitely down for the ride -- the man hardly ever put his board down," said CCS Brand Director, Seamus Deegan.
