The rap mogul was sued by the producer for $20 million, but the case was dismissed after they managed to settle it out of court. Deezle took legal action against Weezy last year, claiming that he produced several songs in the 2008 album but he was never paid properly for his work. Details of the agreement between the two parties were kept confidential. Weezy has been repeatedly slapped with lawsuits regarding some of his songs including "BedRock" and "How to Love". The producer (real name: Darius Harrison) filed suit against Weezy in early 2011, claiming to have produced several tracks from the rapper's multi-platinum 2008 album, Tha Carter III , including hits such as "Lollipop," "Mrs. Officer," "Whip It," and "Let The Beat Build". Deezle claims that Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records grossed more than $70 million in revenue off the music he produced, and was seeking $20 million of that total. Although Wayne initially denied Deezle's claims, both sides have settled out-of-court, agreeing to a confidential agreement, reports TMZ . As of press time, details about the settlement were not released. The case has been dismissed.

According to TMZ, rapper Lil Wayne has settled out of court with Darius "Deezle" Harrison , the producer who filed a lawsuit in 2011 seeking $20 million for his contributions to the 2008 album Tha Carter III . Details of the settlement have not been released, but according to the gossip site, the case has been dropped. Wayne initially denied Deezle's claims, but in a statement last April , the apparently wronged beatsmith predicted that things would turn out in his favor. "At this time I am owed a sufficient amount of money and will protect the rights afforded me by the State of New York," he said. Robert Hoobler, 55, says he was terminated from the sheriff's office April 13th after being suspended a day earlier in connection with the November 1 arrest of Leron Anderson, 32, who was picked up at his Marrero home for violating a protective order. A Jefferson Parish Crime report says Anderson kicked out a back window of a Hoobler's JPSO cruiser after he was cuffed and on the way to the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. That's when Hoobler parked his squad car, commanded Anderson to stop and eventually discharged his electronic control device and used it four separate times on the arrestee, according to the report.
