NBA: Lil Waynes Claim He Was Banned From Games Not True

Lil Wayne (WireImage)So was he or wasnt he?

Though Lil Wayne recently claimed in a swear-laced tirade that hes been banned from all NBA games as per a direct request from the Miami Heat, the NBA is saying hes got it all wrong.

During a Houston performance on Sunday, the tail-end of NBA All-Star weekend, the hip-hop star took time out to share the news with the crowd.

The NBA banned me from all NBA events. Ive gotta let you know why though its because the Miami Heat told them to ban me, he said in the speech caught on video by a member of the audience, which is now posted on TMZ. So When I say f**k, you say NBA. When I say f**k, you say the Miami Heat.

Not about to lay off the team he believed was behind the banning, Lil Wayne then went after some of its star players, screaming: "F**k LeBron, f**k She-Wade, f**k Chris Bosh.

Even Boshs wife didnt escape the wrath. The 30-year-old announced hed had sex the woman, named Adrienne, news that was received with cheers from the audience.

The NBA, however, says that Lil Waynes claim is simply false. This is not true. No ban from NBA games, league spokesperson Amanda Thorn told omg! via email on Tuesday.

Boshs wife hasnt spoken out in response, but has retweeted the support of some pals, including Wades girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union, who took to Twitter to write, Some people attack those who have the peace & joy they wish the! y had! Pay them no mind! Live your dream, strut & wave.

This is far from the first bit of trouble Waynes had (or claimed to have) with the NBA. Less than two weeks ago, the rapper announced he was kicked out of a Miami Heat game thanks to the fact he was there to cheer on the Lakers, but again, officials disputed the story.

So Im @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#k da Heat, he tweeted afterwards.

Please note that Lil Wayne was not ejected from the building. He chose to leave, a Miami Heat spokesperson told TMZ in a statement at the time.

If the music biz ever slows down, Lil Wayne could certainly make a career out of beefs with the NBA. Last year the Louisiana native had yet another issue with the league, that time with the Oklahoma Thunder.

Again I was treated like sh!t by the Thunder arena staffdam..I hope da Heat beat da dog sh!t out em!! he wrote.

And yes, the Heat hes referring to rooting for in that angry tweet is Miami Heat, the team that was playing the Thunder on the day he claimed he was, er, mistreated.

If Lil Wayne keeps it up, hes going to end up with no pro basketball teams left to root for at all. Well, theres always golf.
