Lil Wayne Booted Out Of Basketball Game
Rapper Lil Wayne has accused bosses at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida, of booting him out of the venue during a basketball game on Sunday (10Feb13).
The star was among the sports fans who turned out to watch the showdown between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers, but claims he was asked to leave early by police officers.
After he was escorted out, the hip-hop star wrote in a post on his Twitter.com page, "So I'm @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#k da Heat."
Online reports suggest the hip-hop star was involved in an altercation with a rival fan before he was allegedly shown out.
A spokesperson for the Miami Heat tells Tmz.com, "In response to your inquiry, please note that Lil Wayne was not ejected from the building. He chose to leave."
