The victim of the alleged attack, Alfredo Marino, has attorney Craig Chisvin file his lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court on Feb. 8. But before he could, a man who works for Weezy grabbed a skateboard and hit him in the back of the head.
In his lawsuiw, Alfredo claims he suffered a severe injury to his head as result of the assault, and is blaming the Lollipop rapper and his record label, Young Money Records, for the battery because he believes they were responsible for enabling the attacker, TMZ reports.
Alfredo is suing for unspecified damages.
Lil Waynes Recent Health Scare
The lawsuit comes just months after Lil Wayne had a health scare and had to be hospitalized twice for reported seizure-like symptoms. He was first hospitalized on Oct. 25 after exhibiting the symptoms aboard his private jet. The plane made an emergency stop in Texas, where he was rushed to a local hospital, TMZ reported.
His rep told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.
The following day, he was reportedly rushed to the hospital again after exhibiting the same symptoms on a flight from Texas to Los Angeles.
