Lil Wayne not banned from league events, says NBA

Lil Wayne's claim that he was banned from all NBA league events has been dismissed by the organisation.

The 'Lollipop' rapper told fans during a performance in Houston this month that the alleged ban stemmed from an incident with the Miami Heat basketball team.

According to TMZ, Wayne accused the team of getting him kicked out of a game last week for rooting for the Lakers.

Though the Heat organisation insisted that the rapper left the game of his own volition, he continued in his rant to insult the team.

Lil Wayne also added that he allegedly slept with Heat player Chris Bosh's wife.

A spokesperson for the NBA has said that Wayne has been lying about the ban, insisting that there is "no truth at all" to his claims.
