Lil Wayne Visited By Drake And Birdman In Hospital

Stricken rapper Lil Wayne has received visits from his music-biz pals Drake and Birdman as he recovers in hospital.

The 30-year-old star was rushed to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Hospital on Friday, when it was reported that he was in critical condition with an "uncertain" prognosis.

But a spokeswoman has since claimed that reports were overblown and the star is recovering from his emergency.

Cash Money CEO and Wayne's father figure Birdman paid him a visit in hospital yesterday, according to an online report.

Birdman was seen outside Cedars-Sinai with his bodyguard beside a black Cadillac Escalade SUV in a picture posted on TMZ.

The music mogul wasn't the only celebrity to visit Wayne. Drake and NBA star Chris Paul were both separately photographed leaving the hospital as well.

Young Money president Mack Maine blasted US gossip site TMZ for figuratively trying to "kill a man before his time" - and the rapper's reps told MTV News that "Lil Wayne is recovering".

Wayne suffered a series of seizures last year which led to hospital treatment.
