5 Reasons We're Looking Forward To Lil Wayne's 'I Am Not A Human Being 2' After Seeing The Tracklist

In less than three weeks, Lil Wayne will release his long-awaited new album, I Am Not a Human Being 2, his first official project since 2011's Tha Carter IV. And, prior to last weekend, we were already excited to see what Weezy F. Baby had in store for us. But, now, we're even more excited about the album due to the fact that Wayne dropped the tracklist for IANAHB2 on Sunday. It revealed all of the major guest appearances on the album, including 2 Chainz, Gunplay, Soulja Boy, Nicki Minaj, and more. And, it also gave us a little bit more insight about what to expect from the sequel to Wayne's 2010 album.

To explain what it showed usand, more importantly, to explain why it made us more excited about IANAHB2we put together a list of the 5 Reasons We're Looking Forward to Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being 2 After Seeing The Tracklist. Before you get your hands on it later this month, find out why you should be excited, too.

Reason #1: We haven't heard most of the songs on the album yet.Wayne hasn't put out an album in almost two years. He also hasn't put out much in terms of mixtape material. So, we're not entirely surprised to see that IANAHB2 is filled with new music. But, it's pretty rare these days to get an album that features more than 10 new songs on it. If nothing else, it'll give us more than enough Wayne music to listen to for the next couple of months.

Reason #2: The song titles are almost all rated R.Something tells us that Wayne doesn't have a ton of radio-friend ly stuff on IANAHB2. From "Gunwalk" to "Trigger Finger" to "Rich as Fuck," the album appears to be filled with songs that feature a lot of profanity in them. We're not necessarily advocating profanity. But, we are advocating the ideas of Wayne catering to his fans, instead of creating an album filled with cheesy pop attempts. If those songs sound like we think they will, Wayne's true fans are in for a real treat.

Reason #3: Judging by the titles, it doesn't look like Wayne will be singing on any of the songs.Two of the songs that were on Tha Carter IV"How To Love" and "How to Hate," which both featured T-Painalso featured Wayne doing nothing but singing. And, to be honest: We hated it. So, we really don't want to spend five more minutes listening to Wayne sing. And, after seeing the titles, we don't think we'll have to. We're a little worried about a song called "Romance," but, fingers crossed, we should be in the clear when it comes to Wa! yne's R&a! mp;B attempts on this album.

Reason #4: The guest appearances sound like they'll help, not hinder, Wayne.At first glance, IANAHB2 contains a lot of guest appearances. By our count, only four of the album's 15 songs feature Wayne going at it alone. But, we like the fact that he's called on rappers like 2 Chainz, Gunplay, and Juicy J rather than just grabbing the biggest names out there. With all due respect to rappers like Rick Ross, we've heard Wayne rap with them enough in the past. So, we're glad he's decided on this particular cast of characters for his new project.

Reason #5: None of the songs contain the letters "YM."The first I Am Not a Human Being was actually a pretty solid albumuntil the last few songs. On those, Wayne force-fed us a bunch of Young Money collaborations, including not one but two songs that contained the letters "YM" in them ("YM Banger" and "YM Salute"). So, we're glad he's limited the YM guest appearances to Gudda Gudda, Drake, and Nicki Minaj this time around. No shots at Lil Twist, Lil Chuckee, or Jae Millz, but we want to hear as much Wayne as we can on this album, not a whole bunch of YM tracks. And, it looks like we'll be getting plenty of Wayne after seeing the tracklist.
