Fans anxious to hear how rap-metal crew Limp Bizkit will sound since aligning themselves with Cash Money Records will finally have their wishes met as a Lil Wayne-assisted record called "Ready to Go" is set to premiere in the coming days.

While little is known about the production, fans can expect to hear the new record soon.

Fans will not have to wait long to hear what the odd future pairing of Limp Bizkit and the YMCMB crew will sound like. A spokesperson for the home of Drake and Nicki Minaj confirmed to MTV News on Friday (March 2) that the crew will release a single online next week called "Ready to Go" featuring verses from their new labelmate Lil Wayne. A couple days ago, Cash Money boss Birdman stressed the importance of thier joint record.

"It'll be a great way to let the world know that [the band] is a part of us," says Williams. The Cash Money head says that Bizkit frontman Fred Durst joined L! il Wayne in Miami the week after the Grammy Awards to bang out the one-off single. "It's rock, but it's hip-hop-rock," says Birdman. "I think we got that hip-hop-rock swagger." (Billboard)

Recently, Bird said Limp Bizkit's induction was supposed to be announced at last month's Grammy Awards.

"Fred [Durst] reached out, bruh," Birdman said in an interview. "I was already a fan of him. When the opportunity came, we really was supposed to announce it at the Grammys. [Lil] Wayne was going to announce it at the Grammys, but he did it when he felt like it. ... He's a visionary, he a great artist. Also, I want him to be a part of our staff and take over the rock department and bring us over more talent because that's what he does. I think with having Limp he brings a lot." (XXL Mag)

Last week, Durst hopped on Twitter and announced his YMCMB affiliation.

"The game is missing danger, electricity, and rock n roll!!!!" Cash Money Limp Bizkit," he tweeted Friday (February 24).
