Pay your tickets, people. You think in this crumbling economy, one-time won't haul your a** to jail over some overdue traffic violations? Well think again, because no one, not even rappers are safe from the long arm of the law.

Ask Slaughterhouse spitter Joe Budden, who was arrested before a show in NYC last night. According to reports, Joey was busted for a past due ticket dating back to 2007.

When a full house greeted Slaughterhouse at New York City's Best Buy Theater on Thursday (March 29) night, they couldn't help but notice that one of the quartet's members, Joe Budden, was missing. After the group performed the songs "The Illest" and "Sound Off," the group announced that Budden had been arrested by the NYPD.(HHDX)

His Slaughterhouse crew rocked on without him, but fans were still hungr! y for Jo e [pause].

In full support, the crowd began to shout "Joey, Joey, Joey," without any prompting from Joell, Crook or Nickel Nine. The group then went into a portion of their infamous 2011 B.E.T. Hip-Hop Award Show cypher. Joell spit his verse and then went into his solo underground gem "Hip-Hop." Budden was missed, but the now-three-headed lyrical Shady Records monster carried on. There was no "Pump It Up" or Mood Muzik verses, but Budden's band of brothers still repped performing their solo hits as well as posse cuts like "Microphone" and "Hammer Dance." That didn't stop the crowd from chanting for Joe Budden. "We love Joey too, chanting for him ain't gonna get him outta jail," Royce responded.(RapFix)

Hopefully Joey gets that all worked out. In other news ... Birdman recently sat down with Complex mag to discuss a variety of topics including Weezy's possible retirement from the game.

Q: Wayne recently has hinted at retiring. Have you guys ever had that discussion? A: He was saying by the time he hits 35 [he'd retire], I heard him say that. But nah, he's on a mission right now. Q: But do you think when he hits 35, he'd seriously consider retiring? A: One thing about my son is that what he says is what he means. When he does retire, that's when I'm going to stop fucking with it altogether because it ain't gonna be no need. He's going to take us where we need to go. When he retires, that's when I stop.(Complex)

Baby went on to add that if Weezy ever checks out of the game, so will he.

Q: So you'll retire as well? A: Yeah. It won't be no need for me no more because he's goi! ng to ta ke us further than I ever could. I been doing this shit for 22 years, another six or seven years for him. When that day comes, you won't hear or see Stunna. But until then, we're going to go hard like there's no tomorrow.(Complex)

Pretty strong statements from the Cash Money boss. SOHH Watcha Think: Will Weezy and Baby still be around in the next 5, 10 years?
