They also revealed that due to an unprecedented demand for tickets for the Lil Wayne shows in South Africa, an additional 2 000 tickets were made available for the show at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg on Friday December 9 2011. Lil Wayne's I Am Still Music Tour will see the Grammy-winning rapper (real name Dwayne Michael Carter jnr) performing on African soil for the first time. It will also be Rick Ross' first live performance in Johannesburg. In an interview with Billboard , the Young Money rapper revealed that he plans to go "dub fi dub" against his mentor, using the traditional dancehall battle format, which dates back to the 1950's. "I don't want to just do an album release concert. So, me, I go to Jamaica a lot -- I love Jamaican culture -- so what I'm gonna do, I'm challenging Lil Wayne to a sound clash, that's what I want to do. I don't want to just perform by myself," Drake explained. "I want Wayne to come out on stage with a mic and I'm gonna have a mic, and we're gonna have both our DJs, and we're gonna battle song-for-song and see who the people love more. Grammy Award winning rapper Lil Wayne will tour South Africa in December. He is on three years probation and abstaining from alcohol is part of the probation. Also he is not to associate with people involved in drugs or criminal activity. Timeslive reports that he will have a 50-member entourage traveling with him, a luxury bus and five top of the line SUV's.. He apparently won't have any alcoholic beverages though. On previous overseas trips he would require bottles of Perrier-Jouet champagne, Hennessy cognac and two bottles of Patron Platinum tequila be available for him in his hotel suite.
