Chris Brown Disses Drake On Freestyle, Shouts Out Lil Wayne
Chris Brown released a lyrical attack on Drake today over Chief Keef's "I Don't Like" beat. Chris' remix features several jabs at Drake's music, appearance and reputation--although Brown commends Drake's Young Money counterparts Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj--in lyrics like "One on one, what you scared bruh...Them eyebrows, man them shi*ts is Yikes!" and "OVO you overdose, YOLO no, I live twice!"
Chris briefly references the alleged June 14 melee between him and Drizzy at NYC's W.i.P. nightclub, saying "They throwing bottles/I'm throwing models."
It's still unclear what sparked that altercation between the duo. MTV News reported that a fight broke out at trendy W.i.P. nightclub in NYC in which bottles were allegedly thrown. A photo posted to Brown's Instagram showing the singer sporting a bloody gash on his chin quickly made its rounds. The singer's bodyguard also sustained a head injury as did NBA star Tony Parker, Australian tourist Hollie C. and two more people. No arrests have been made.
Drake's camp refuted claims that the "Headlines" rapper was involved in the incident. "Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.I.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began," his rep told TMZ. "[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property."
Drake and Brown have been the subject of tabloid rumors of late, as buzz built that the two were fighting over si! nger Rih anna. Brown's long-term relationship with the superstar famously exploded after he assaulted her in 2009, but they continued to be linked to one another. Drake has spoken several times that he and Rihanna are close, and allegedly had a brief fling, and the pair were spotted out together as recently as Memorial Day weekend in Miami.
