DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne & More Team For I.M.P.A.C.T New Orleans Super Bowl Charity Weekend

As the Baltimore Ravens get ready to take on the San Francisco 49ers this weekend, celebrities in town for the big game are squeezing in some charity work. DJ Khaled, Scarface, Trae the Truth, and Lil Wayne are among the big names teaming with New Orleans non-profit, Home Mission Inc. for I.M.P.A.C.T Weekend Charity Experience to be held Jan. 31 Feb. 3.

The weekend will include celebrity hosted event, and community service projects. Other attendees include Kevin Hart, and Deion Sanders.

We hope that I.M.P.A.C.T Weekend will serve as a catalyst for the continued growth of our programs and number of people we're able to serve, said HMI Executive Director, and I.M.P.A.C.T Weekend Charity Experience Event Coordinator, Krystal M. Justice.

In addition to fundraising, the goal of I.M.P.A.C.T Weekend is to raise awareness about the organization's mission to help the growing number of homeless and less fortunate in the city.

Established in 1986, with the assistance of var! ious partners, HMI has been able to provide food, shelter and other necessary resources to the New Orleans' homeless and poverty-stricken populations.
