Lil Wayne is one of the biggest sports enthusiasts in Hip-Hop. He was recently a guest onJim Rome On Showtime.

The Young Money CEO spoke to the long-time sports analyst about his time on Rikers Island for his weapons possession charge in 2010 and when future Hall-Of-Fame quarterback, Brett Favre, reached out to him.

"At the moment ti meant more than a lot. Because at that moment you are looking for help anywhere. You are looking for support from anywhere possible," says Wayne. "So to hear that Brett Favre say he was praying for me, it put a smile on my face for a long time. And to smile in that place is...it's almost impossible."

Wayne also elaborated on his sports analyst dreams and was given a moment to wax poetic about any issue in sports he wanted to. He chose to go in on how hard it is to play defense in today's NFL. "I'm from a time where if that ball was in the air, and you going across that middle, you had to be a certain receiver to go across that middle and get that ball," says Wayne.

"That's what made you, that's what sold you. We don't even have that anymore...Now you can catch the ball, and you have to let him, eh, you know I don't get it." Amen, Weezy. But the concussion numbers don't lie, jack. Check the interview excerpt after the jump.
