Lil Wayne memoir hitting shelves in November

Lil Wayne has built an extremely successful career writing rap lyrics and getting in touch with listeners emotions, so why shouldnt he write a book about his life.

CNN reported the How to Love singer is set to release a memoir about his life in prison, titled Gone Till November, on November 28, 2012.

The book will chronicle Lil Waynes eight month stint at Rikers Island back in 2010 when he was serving a gun charge. It will also feature excerpts of his diary entries during that time.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gone Till November will be published by Grand Central Publishing.

We are thrilled to be publishing Waynes prison memoir," Grand Central Publishing Executive Editor Ben Greenberg said.

"He kept detailed journals of his inner and outer life while he was on Rikers Island, and they certainly tell a story. They are revealing.

Some of those details include the people the 29-year-old met, what he thought and felt while in prison, his family, his children, his past and his future.

Its no secret Lil Wayne has fans. In 2008, Tha Carter III sold more than 1 million copies its first week and hes got four Grammys under his belt. Plus, hes nominated for another five this year. Will you be buying Gone Till November?
