Lil Wayne Announces Upcoming 'Dedication 4' Mixtape

It's been nearly a year since he released Tha Carter IV, and as he preps I Am Not a Human Being II, Lil Wayne made an exciting announcement over the weekend: a new mixtape will come in August.

The rapper tweeted late Sunday (July 22) that he's been working on the fourth installment of his Dedication mixtape series with DJ Drama, and it's due out in August.

"Dedikation 4 komin next month," Weezy wrote (@LilTuneChi).

Dedication 3 dropped in December 2008. The series is arguably the rapper's most popular of all-time, and helped sparked a buzz that has culminated into his superstar status.

Further details about the upcoming Dedication mixtape were unknown at press time.

I Am Not a Human Being II had no release date as of press time.
