Lil Wayne And Rihanna: Who Wore Trukfit Better?

Hackney Weekend was such a fashion extravaganza as far as Rihanna was concerned, we had to pick and choose our fave outfits carefully. We knew that we wanted to comment on her Trukfit shorts the second we saw those photos of her leaving her London hotel, though, and now, finally, we can! The singer is no stranger to sartorial risks, and although they look perfectly at home on her, the tiger print bottoms are actually meant for dudes. Lil Wayne rocked a pair at the James L. Knight center in Miami last night, and we have to say, we're having a hard time deciding who wore them better. Lil Wayne gets some bonus points because, you know, they're from his own line, but we love how Rihanna styled hers with a cropped jersey and converse.

The shorts totally remind us of that brief era in the early 2000's when board shorts were huge, and not just at the beach, but paired with a plain white tee as Wayne does, they're 100% pure skate gold. The slouchy silhouette pops in the bright yellow jungle pattern, and we're sure that in the Miami heat they were just what the singer needed to be able to move on stage. Rihanna's look is definitely more intentional, and we love how she adds a girly element by wearing her hair down in soft waves, pulled off of her face. Maybe it's a tie this time?
