Eminem to join Lil Wayne on world tour

Lil Wayne has revealed plans for Eminem to join him on his current world tour.

The rapper is currently touring the globe in support of his ninth studio album Tha Carter IV, which was released back in August.

Lil Wayne made the announcement on Facebook. He also thanked fans for making Tha Carter IV achieve 2x platinum status.

He said: "Headed to Fiji, Australia then S. Africa ... on tour with Slim Shady.. a blessing ... thx to those who supported C4! 2x platinum! Love y'all. (sic)"

The star was forced to cancel three dates in Australia earlier this week due to scheduling conflicts.

Lil Wayne currently has no upcoming UK tour dates and it is unknown whether further shows will be added to his current world tour.

Both Eminem and Lil Wayne were recently named 'Gods of Rock' by GQ magazine.
